No kidding - Joyce's goats have changed life for her family

The people of Sinoko District in Uganda are desperately poor. Like nine out of ten families there, Joyce relied on her land to survive but could not grow enough food to keep her children healthy.

That has all changed thanks to goats from FARM-Africa. Joyce received two goats when we began working in her area. As part of our project, she bred them with Toggenburgs - a type of goat that gives lots of milk. Now their offspring provide milk each day for her family to drink. She even sells the manure they produce to neighbours to pay her children's school fees.
